At the end of each calendar year, the Archdiocese of Galveston-Houston hosts two gatherings – the Annual Priests' Vespers & Dinner and a Chancery Christmas Party. At each event, we hold several drawings for gifts/prizes as a way to increase the festivity and thank our clergy and staff for another year of dedication to serving the faithful of the Archdiocese of Galveston-Houston.

Thank you for your interest in contributing to the prize pool. While we did have one generous donor gift us with 4 iPads one year(!), we are seeking more reasonable donations, such as Visa or Mastercard gift cards or gift cards to stores such as Amazon or Starbucks. We are trying to stay away from branded swag or giveaways and offer prizes that anyone would be happy to win. Donations can also be made to one specific event, ex. four gift cards for the priests’ event only. Your organization will be named and thanked at the event as the donor of the prizes, and letters will be sent acknowledging the donations for tax purposes.
 
This year’s events will take place on Wednesday, Dec. 17 (Priests' Vespers & Dinner) and Friday, Dec. 19 (Chancery Christmas Party). Donations must be received no later than Friday, Dec. 12.
