Each June and July, the Office of Evangelization and Catechesis offers all of our foundational courses (Formation Toward Christian Ministry [FTCM] and catechist modules). Virtual and in-person options are available for busy catechists who have more availability in the summer.
Formation Toward Christian Ministry is offered virtually in June. Participants may choose from three time slots: morning (9-11am), mid-day (12-2pm) and afternoon (2:30-4:30pm). These nine foundational courses in Catholic theology cover topics such as scripture, sacraments, morality, and Church history. Click here to view a full schedule and to register for courses.
Catechist Modules will be offered the week of July 7-11 in English. Participants may choose from in-person morning sessions (10am-12pm) at St. Dominic Chancery or virtual evening sessions (7-9pm). These ten, two-hour workshops provide practical skills and spirituality for classroom catechists. Click here to view a full schedule and to register for modules.
