All young adults are invited to join us for Magnify at St. Mary’s Seminary (9845 Memorial Dr, Houston). Magnify is an annual, one-day event that seeks to gather young adults in their 20s and 30s from all corners of the Archdiocese of Galveston-Houston. The day includes a keynote speaker, small group discussions, workshops, Mass, and time for social activities. This is a bilingual event with offerings available in English and Spanish.

Sr. Albert Marie Surmanski, OPSr. Albert Marie Surmanski, OP is a member of the Dominican Sisters of Mary, Mother of the Eucharist. She is an Associate Professor of Theology at the University of St. Thomas in Houston where she also teaches at St. Mary's Seminary. Her main area of research is medieval sacramental theology with a focus on Albert the Great and Aquinas. She has published a translation of Albert the Great's work On the Body of the Lord, in the CUA Fathers of the Church Medieval Continuation series, a translation of Aquinas's Commentary on the Psalms for the Aquinas Institute, and articles in various journals including Logos, Antiphon, Nova et Vetera, and Franciscan Studies.
Mari Pablo viene de una familia dominicana y palestina y vive en Miami, Florida. El Señor cambió su vida drásticamente de la mejor manera posible cuando finalmente decidió dejar de luchar y entregárselo todo a Él. Mari tiene una licenciatura en teología y psicología de la Universidad Franciscana de Steubenville y una maestría en teología de Augustine Institute. Mari ha trabajado en el ministerio juvenil durante más de quince años, como ministra juvenil y profesora de teología. Actualmente trabaja con parroquias y universidades de todo el país con The Evangelical Catholic. Fr. Clark Sample was born and raised in Houston, TX. He attended St. Michael Catholic School from kindergarten through 8th grade, followed by St. Thomas High School. He then pursued a degree in Liberal Arts at the University of Texas in Austin. After graduating, Fr. Clark worked in the Oil and Gas industry in Fort Worth, TX. During this time, he felt a calling to the priesthood and decided to enter seminary. Fr. Clark studied at Holy Trinity Seminary in Dallas and the North American College in Rome, Italy. He was ordained a Catholic priest in 2016 and earned a Licentiate in Sacred Theology (STL) in Dogmatic Theology from the Gregorian University in Rome in 2017. He later served as parochial vicar at St. John Vianney Catholic Church and as pastor of St. Thomas More Catholic Church. In 2023, Cardinal DiNardo appointed Fr. Clark as the Episcopal Vicar for Clergy and Director of the Secretariat for Clergy Formation and Chaplaincy Services.

Please consider advertising your ministry or business with us at Magnify 2025. We are anticipating between 200-300 young adults to attend this event. Magnify 2025 will be held at St. Mary’s Seminary (9845 Memorial Dr, Houston) on Saturday, March 22, 2025, from 12:00 pm to 8:15 pm. Young Adults will be able to visit with sponsors throughout the event.
Sponsors for Magnify will be given a table at the in-person event. Sponsors will also be given the opportunity share a graphic and short description of their organization that will be shared through social media after the event ends. The cost to be a sponsor for Magnify is $75 (dinner included for all sponsors). Additional tables (up to 3) can be purchased for $50 each. The deadline to register is March 3, 2025.
Tables give appropriate groups and businesses the opportunity to educate young adults about vocations, service opportunities, ministries, Catholic religious goods, and more. Organizations are responsible for bringing their own linens and table decorations. Setup is available starting at 11:30 am, and all sponsors must be cleaned up by 8:45 pm.
Additional tables (up to 3) can be purchased for $50 each.
In addition to having a table at the event, we ask that organizations also still provide a graphic and web site to be posted on social media and on the Web site at: www.archgh.org/magnify. Graphics can be submitted as square (1080x1080 pixels) or portrait (1080x608 pixels). Graphics must be sent in an image format (JPG, PNG, etc.). Please no PDF files. All graphics need to be uploaded to your registration page by the deadline.
All ads and table displays are subject to approval by the YACM office and venue staff. All sponsors must register online by March 3, 2025.
