Catechetical Framework for Lifelong Faith Formation

The Catechetical Framework for Lifelong Faith Formation is the definitive framework by which catechesis is to be carried out in the Archdiocese of Galveston-Houston in all contexts.  It was promulgated by Daniel Cardinal DiNardo, Archbishop of Galveston-Houston, on August 6, 2013, and became effective on January 6, 2014.

This Framework is the result of a collaborative effort between the Offices of Evangelization and Catechesis, Adolescent Catechesis and Evangelization, and Catholic Schools. The implementation of the Framework in the many varying contexts of the Archdiocese remains the competency of the appropriate office.
