In your pastoral council, you should adapt these initiatives to the needs of your own community to achieve the archdiocese’s pastoral mission, selecting specific pastoral objectives to work further on. Wouldn’t we all want that for our parishes? We are prepared to share resources and tools other parishes have used to develop their plans. You’ll benefit from the collective wisdom of those energized parishes. Great news for you, right?
Demographics may change dramatically from one parish to another. Talk to your pastor about inquiring to get detailed information on ethnicity, income, age composition and many other useful variables to assess current and projected needs in your parish. This information MUST be requested by the pastor from the Office of Pastoral Ministries and Secretariat Director-Jim Barrette.

You have a functioning Pastoral Council, of any size.
Your pastor is aware of the planning process and agrees with initiating it.
You want to serve spiritual needs in richer, more extended or more profound ways.
The office of Pastoral Ministries will gladly assist you initially focus on your church’s immediate needs as well as its potential going forward.
