Maximum capacity of sleeping cabins: 154 people (Must provide own linen and pillows)
• St. John Bosco Cabin: 4 rooms (Sleeps 8 in each room) for a total of 32 beds
• St. Maria Goretti Cabin: 4 rooms (Sleeps 8 in each room) for a total of 32 beds
• St. Pedro Calungsod Cabin: 2 rooms with separate entrances (with Bathroom...Sleeps 32 in each) for a total of 64 beds.
• St. Therese de Lisieux Cabin: 3 rooms (Two rooms sleeping 8 in each room and one single room with bathroom that sleeps 3 leaders for a total of 19 beds
Additional Information
• Guest House: 3 rooms for usage of visiting priests or religious leaders during retreats or for retreat team if available.

The School of Environmental Education (S.E.E.)
The School of Environmental Education (S.E.E.) is a program of the Camp Kappe Youth Retreat Facility and is an accredited school offering a supplemental education program to the parochial schools of the area.
S.E.E. provides 5th grade students in our Catholic schools a four-day outdoor experience of God's gift of nature while studying life cycles, food chains, the environment's effect on man, man's effect on the environment, conservation of resources, etc. It offers hands-on experience with farm animals and gardening along with many other exciting adventures in outdoor education.

From Austin
Travel from Austin toward Houston on U.S. 290. At Brenham follow S.H. 105 to Navasota. At Navasota, S.H. 105 turns, following S.H. 6 south for about 1 mile and then S.H. 105 turns east toward Plantersville. At Plantersville, turn north on F.M. 1774. Go approx. 1 mile north on F.M. 1774 and the Camp Kappe turn-off is clearly marked on your left.From Beaumont
Travel north on S.H. 96 to Post Oak Mall. Take S.H. 105 toward Sour Lake. Stay on S.H. 105 until reaching Plantersville. At Plantersville, turn north on F.M. 1774. Go approx. 1 mile north on F.M. 1774 and the Camp Kappe turn-off is clearly marked on your left.From Brownsville

Yes! Typically, appointments for tours are set for Tuesdays during the week but weekend dates can also be arranged depending on availability.
Please contact the director of the retreat center for more information.

Camp Kappe and the SEE are primarily designated as youth retreat locations meaning that it is not able to host retreats for adults or families.
We would invite you to please look into our other retreat centers as possible options for your event/retreat.
