What can Scripture teach us about communication between spouses?
Sikha is a Bible study like no other, as it follows couple communication deeply through reflecting and discerning on the dialogues and actions of seven biblical couples. It explores overt and subtle communication messaging, agreements and their nature, underlying values and fears, intentions, words, and their enduring effects in life. It will draw participants into a discussion that shows men and women interacting at various stages of married life.
The study is meant to be shared in a community setting comprised primarily of stable couples, whether they are sacramentally married or not yet. Our prayer is that studying these passages becomes a blessing to many couples who work together in a shared journey back to our Father.
The series studies seven couples across 17 conversations. As each biblical couple's story is fascinating, the program’s duration can be adapted according to the community’s time availability and interest. In dialogue, there is no rush, but shared meaning.
