Statement by Daniel Cardinal DiNardo regarding the Holy Father’s hospitalization

I was troubled to learn that His Holiness, Pope Francis, has been admitted to the hospital with a respiratory infection but encouraged that he has begun treatment. I, along with Bishop Italo Dell’ Oro, priests, deacons, religious, and lay faithful of this local Church, want to express the support of our continued prayers for his swift recovery.

May the Lord continue to strengthen him and impart healing in mind, body, and spirit.
