Archbishop Vásquez's Second Statement on the Flooding in Kerr County

Dear brothers and sisters in Christ, I ask for your continual prayers for those affected by the devastating flooding in Kerr County and the surrounding region.
 
I have been informed that members of the Archdiocese of Galveston-Houston, including both children and adults, have passed during this natural disaster. I ask that the Lord of all consolation brings these departed loved ones into eternal life and his peace and comfort to the suffering families and friends. I also ask the Holy Spirit to strengthen and sustain all the first responders during this time of search and rescue. 
 
In addition to prayers, I encourage the faithful to donate to the San Antonio, Catholic Charities at https://ccaosa.ejoinme.org/helptoday. United with the Archdiocese of San Antonio, our local Church is dedicated to bringing Christ's charity into this time of great sorrow.

Me han informado que miembros de la Arquidiócesis de Galveston-Houston, incluyendo adultos y niños, han fallecido  durante este desastre natural.
