Peter’s Pence Collection: Be a sign of mercy

The Peter’s Pence collection, set for the weekend of June 29 - 30, 2024, is a gesture of solidarity through which every member of the faithful can participate in the activity of the Pope as Pastor of the universal Church.

“The faithful’s offerings to the Holy Father through the Peter’s Pence Collection are destined to Church needs, to humanitarian initiatives and social promotion projects, as well as to the support of the Holy See.”

Parishioners’ contributions to the Peter’s Pence Collection help fund the Holy Father’s charitable outreach to victims of war, migrants and refugees, the poor, and those affected by illness and natural disasters is supported by your contributions to the Peter’s Pence Collection. When you participate in the collection, you join Catholics across the globe in supporting the pope’s mission of mercy as well as the Holy See dicasteries that assist his ministry.

The USCCB National Collections Committee oversees the promotion of the Peter's Pence Collection. This committee includes the following members:
